Here is a list of round-trip travel times and visit times for a selection of our major attractions, based on a Stornoway departure, to help you build an itinerary suitable to your needs.  Remember each of these is round trip timed from Stornoway and back. Getting between each site, and back, will therefore take longer.  That's why this is a guide only to help you.  We will compile a full itinerary for your approval.  Times in brackets are suggested visit times.

All tours depart from the Herring Girl Statue at the sea wall of the South Beach free car park close to the bus station and return to the same place.

Isle of Lewis Private Tours Key Terms

1.  All tours pick up and drop off from the Herring Girl statue on the waterfront at the South Beach Car Park.  We cannot pick-up or drop-off at the Deep Water Terminal.

2. Private Tours are paid in two parts by credit or debit card. A deposit followed by the balance, cleared funds with us, 72 hours prior to the start time of the tour.

3. We will hold a requested tour date for 14 days then the tour date will be opened again so others may book.

4.  After paying a deposit here is a 24 hour grace period where you may cancel for a 100% refund less any transaction fees from any party whether on your part our ours.  After that time the booking is refundable up to 3 days prior to departure less the initial deposit and any transaction fees from any party whether on your part our ours. Within 3 days (72 hours) of of the tour no refunds shall be provided.

5. If you have booked a Private Tour and you were due to arrive by Cruise Ship into Stornoway Deep Water Port Terminal, or berthed at the Outer Anchorage, where their ship did not dock or berth, a 75% refund of your tour booking less any third party transaction fees will be offered. Evidence must be provided that your ship failed to berth or dock when a refund application is made, this can be made via email to accounts@hebrideanservices.com.
