Our Historical Island Tour operates Tuesday through Saturday and days when cruiseship** arrivals are due into Stornoway.
* Isle of Lewis tour sites are self-guided (subject to any entrance fee) so that you can enjoy them at your own pace. Our driver guide can answer any questions you may have during the rest of the tour.
** Please note Cruiseship passengers are subject to the same cancellation and refund terms as non-cruiseship passengers. You should purchase travel insurance for the instance where your ship does not dock as expected.

Join one of our family friendly tours to hear about the wonders in the night sky learning, the nature of Space and the Universe above you. Learn cool stuff about the concept of space and time that will leave you excited to tell your friends about when you get home! If you are lucky there may be a glimpse of the Aurorae!
On our tours you will also get the chance to use interactive tech to search the sky, take part in hands-on experiments and use some real astronomer equipment to search above you!

This does not replace our full Terms and Conditions for our Isle of Lewis Tours.
- Minimum Age: Guests must be 3 years or older.
- Weather: Our Isle of Lewis Tour will operate in most weathers including heavy rain. You should prepare for all weather types. You will be notified by 4pm the day before the tour via email or your 3rd party booking system if we are cancelling a tour.
- Tour Length: Tours last between 4 and 5 hrs depending on road conditions, the number of guests we have and any difficulties parking at our tour locations.
- Food & Drink: Neither may be consumed on the vehicle on this tour except that provided by us.
- Bathroom Opportunities: There are bathrooms at the first three stops assuming the standard itinerary is maintained. You will be advised of changes on the day of the tour. There are no bathrooms available prior to the start of the tour at the pick-up location.
- Cancellation: You can cancel for free within 24 hrs of our tours for a 100% refund less any 3rd party transaction fees, after that time tours are non-refundable. Private tours are non-refundable up to 3 days prior to the tour date. Please note that cruise ship passengers are subjet to the same cancellation policies and you should purchase travel insurance to cover the failure of your ship to dock in Stornoway.
